NATIONAL CADASTRAL INVENTORY

For most users, the National Cadastral Data Infrastructure information is accessed through the Status Map. You can access the following types of information.

Percent Parcel Completion By State
The GIS Inventory provides four status maps for the National Cadastral Data Infrastructure. The default status map shows the percent parcel completion by state.

State Parcel Stewardship
The status map shows the stewardship level, as defined by the Cadastral Subcommittee of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC).

The "i" information button can be used to click onto the status map and retrieve detailed information about a specific location. Clicking on any state will pop-up the information contained in the database. The window provides a tabbed interface for accessing information, such as state URLs, documents and parcel inventory information.

County Parcel Data Contacts
The status map shows the county parcel data contacts, as inventoried by the Cadastral Subcommittee of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC).

County Parcel GIS Data Inventoried
The status map shows the county parcel GIS data inventoried by the Cadastral Subcommittee of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC).

Please Note: State and county cadastral contacts are listed, as well as cadastral-related URLs, documents, and parcel inventory. The GIS Inventory Contacts tab provides additional contacts for the selected location from the user base of the GIS Inventory.
